The two topics were A Rainy Day – An outdoor or indoor shot in which it can be seen that it is or has
just been raining and Open – Any subject, but to be successful it should contain one or more of the
following qualities: Pictorial (composition), impact, appeal, storytelling or interest.
The first photo was taken through the windscreen of a car with an iPhone in RAW mode, then edited in Lightroom.
The second photo was taken in the UK, I was trying to get a decent rain drop and to be able to see the rainbow in it, the problem was to zoom in enough to easily see that, the rainbow disappears in the main image, but you can see it if you look closely enough.
The third photo is a Fairy Wren singing its head off in Organ Pipes National Park, Victoria. After it finished, it flew off and didn’t come back.
The final photo is from Princes Pier at Port Melbourne, dockyard cranes for unloading cargo, if you squint they look a bit like Giraffes. It was a lovely sunset.
