I’ve moved my photography and travel blog to a new site and I thought I would start with a blank canvas. It’s been two years since I posted anything and moving the site across a couple of different hosting services with some glitches here and there so I wanted to start again.
One of the reasons for lack of posting is that once I’ve taken photos I want to edit them, even if it’s just cropping and simple adjustments but often I’ve wanted to do more than just simple adjustments. Last week I decided to try importing my RAW files into my iPad Pro and see how Lightroom for iPad worked. Turns out it’s pretty good, masking works including colour masking and luminence masking. It has a gallery of adjustment presets and playing around these were my first attempts.
I am quite happy with the results, when I have some more time I’ll include some before/after images and some step by step editing examples.
Even though I am starting again, I did look at some of the photos I had on my old site and I did want to preserve these ones.
